So I make a standard raise UTG and SB and BB calls. I don't have any stats on them yet since samples are too small (something like 20 hands). I flop TPGK and decide to bet for value.

SB raises, putting me in a tough spot. On one side, I have TPGK and his calling range was probably something like 22-JJ, 89s+, QJo+, KJs, KQ, AT-AQ (I think he 3-bet with AK and QQ+)... But now with his raise he might be on 22, 44, AT-AQ and occasional air since the board is rather dry.

I'd like to say that I'm really trying to learn to range my opponents so please I ask you to correct me if you think I'm wrong on something.

22 and 44 have me beat but I think most of the time he will do that move with AT-AQ which is, in the worst case scenario, a split pot. I shove.

Now was my line ok on that hand or should I've folded, giving him credit for a set ? I don't think a call would have been a good move since I would have been commited, forcing me to shove anyway.

Thanks,

While 20 hands is deff not a lot to go on I think you can still draw some conclusions about villains. Maniacs show themselves quite quickly for example.

Vs your average 2nl player I think this is fine. They can do this with any A and even though not as often(because most will 3 bet) some KK/QQ that do not want to give up their big hand and then will call your shove.
