Hey guys, I can't tell if I made a mistake or not on this hand. I know that AA in definitely in the range, but I'm not sure if there was also enough junk to justify calling. I think the attempted squeeze pre flop was ok, but I'm not sure about the rest. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Please don't include results. They aren't relevant. It's more important to get unbiased input on the hand. So, in the future, leave out the results.

Anyway, so we have no info to speak of on either villain. So why are we 3b pre? What are we trying to accomplish? I don't mind it, but we don't have reads, we are bloating a pot, we are OOP, etc.

So, as played, the flop is Q-10-7 with two clubs. Why are we checking this flop? I don't understand. This is just FPS. Bet the flop.

So, we check, then it goes bet (MP), then shove from BTN, and we cold call. This spot has now gotten away from us. What do you expect MP to call with after he bets, BTN ships, an we cold call? Do we think he has nothing? He did raise initially, then he bet when we checked flop. He is value betting. What is he value betting? That is the question.

It might be wise to just take a lower variance line preflop, and try to play a smaller pot out of position.

I'm really confused why you didn't cbet flop. There's plenty of value to be had. There is a metric F*** ton of straight draws, there are FDs, inferior Qx, etc. If we bet, MP might even raise us here (our first clue indicating the strength of his hand), and we might be able to hero fold (but once again, I wish I didn't know the results, cause I think it is making me biased). It seems like you felt you had the nuts, and you're trying to trap? Just bet dude. Stop trying to be fancy.

Super bad way to play this hand from start to finish in my humble opinion.

lead the flop we can assume we have the best hand here and we need to get value from hands we dominate.

tricky part is 3 players oop on a well connected board so even if we are infront people will have a huge chunk of equity.

when we get raised for that purpose we must fold because we are either really behind or against someone with huge chunk of equity

In addition your squeeze size is off, 4x=12bb is normal.

I don't see any wrong when trying to squeeze with AQo vs MP open, with AQs I would be more tempted to call. But squeezing is a bit out of my skill level still.

Squeeze sizing is way too small. Need to be 14bbs. Squeeze or call pre is fine. I prefer calling, but as always, it depends.

As played, bet or if you're checking the flop you need to be folding once you have a bet and a shove.
