Villain looks a passive fish, limping 4 of the 6 hands played with him so far.

pokerstars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3: http://www.pokertracker.com

UTG: $2.12
MP: $1.90
CO: $2.00
BTN: $1.45
SB: $1.33
Hero (BB): $2.35

SB posts SB $0.01, Hero posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero has [6s] [10c]
UTG calls $0.02, fold, fold, BTN calls $0.02, fold, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.07, 3 players) [Kh] [4h] [10d]
Hero bets $0.03, UTG calls $0.03, fold

Turn: ($0.13, 2 players) [10h]
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10

River: ($0.33, 2 players) [9c]
Hero checks, UTG checks

It's one of those hands where I'm not that interested but I get some equity in the flop, then I'm either ahead or drawing for a boat. I had no mental process here so I just tried to keep things calm and soft to get to a cheap showdown with not much action.

Still... I think my line sucks seriously.

Which guy is the passive fish? :D

Why arent you betting the turn? You cant go thinking everytime theres 3 hearts on a board that your opponent has a flush, you have a set start putting some money in the middle, he will tell you if he has a flush or not.

Ah I laughed so hard!

Yeah I remember some time ago that I was betting flushed boards because flushs are kind of rare. I was happy with the outcome but marked it for review because I wasn't happy with the line.

So I guess that turn is a bet and fold to a raise and check the river?

:)

Look you're at it again lol, turn is a bet and river is a bet! and yeah if its a sizeable raise i suppose we could fold.

But betting just under the pot on each of them to get the most money in the middle as passive fish call with far worse than a flush here! Any king and i doubt he's folding. If once you bet the turn and he calls if you think a pot sized bet on the river would scare him off then bet like 2/3 or something you think he is more likely to call, always try and squeeze the most out of him.

Bet turn and call a reasonable raise and you can probably bet/fold the river for value
