This player I have tagged as tight-passive. This is on 888 poker so you only buy-in for 50bb

Hero MP raises 3bb holding AK (stack is $1.19)
folds to villain who calls in BB (stack is 0.98c)

FLOP Jh 3c 2s
Villain checks
Hero bets half pot
villain calls

TURN Jh 3c 2s Kh
Villain checks
Hero bets half pot
villain calls

RIVER Jh 3c 2s Kh Kd
Villain checks
Hero bets half pot
Villain raises 2x my raise
Hero shoves
Villain calls

Hero shows 3 of a kind KKK
Villain shows Full house 333KK

This is was my plan PF;
He is passive and does fold on flop so I cbet bluff
when he calls I suspect maybe AJ or Jx or 77+ pocket pairs
Turn shows the K so I bet again to get some value
When I hit my next K and he checkraised me I narrowed his range to 3 of a kind kings with him maybe shipping both streets. I was playing loose so I was thinking he may have wanted to stack me, which he did

Preflop: standard.

Flop: standard.

Turn: standard.

River: just call the raise. You have him tagged as passive. That means that he's strong since he doesn't seem to fear the K. He also called the flop. Do you think he's continuing on that board with a hand like KQ or KT?
When he raises the river, his most likely holdings are KJ or a slowplayed set. Given your image, you should probably still call the raise, but shoving is spew.

I'm starting to find if I hit a 3 of a kind with 2cards on the board than there is a decent chance that they have a full house. I have been watching Blackrain79's videos and he seems to shove alot to try and get "max" value. I think this could be my biggest leak.

With all due respect, please don't include results with a hand you want reviewed. Read the sticky in hand analysis forum for posting guidlines.

That being said, on to the hand.

Preflop fine, flop and turn fine (maybe a touch bigger on turn, but I think 1/2 pot is fine). Now, the river.....

Seeing as how he min-raised you, I don't mind a call here. But consider this: at these stakes, people aren't bluffing rivers. His raise is saying something here. What king can this guy have? Makes no sense unless it's K-J or a set. And even if he has K-Q or A-K, K-10 somehow, I don't think he raises the river.

The Devils in the details. There are no draws to speak of on this flop, that improved on the river. So he called the flop with something, the board is very dry. So, putting these pieces of the puzzle together, on this river, in this spot, you rarely have the best hand when V C/R you. And it's a min-raise too. He's begging you to call him.

A call is ok, but frankly, this is a bad spot. I just don't think we are good here alot. And certainly don't 3b ship on dude. You are lighting money on fire with that.

I forgot to mention about turn bet size....

I say bet a touch bigger than 1/2 pot on turn so we can get value from sticky J-x hands. In this spot, if V calls flop with a J-x, he will often still call a turn bet. So we juice it a little more, for more value. Because V would fold J-x on a ton of rivers, so we gotta get $$ while we can.

That being said, 65% pot +/-

In a $0.04/0.02 game I push the river too and right it off as a cooler. In a $0.10/0.25 game I just call.
