I'm not too unhappy with how I played this hand (didn't spew chips on the river, at least) but I do feel I could've done better. Perhaps bet sizing? I'd appreciate your input.

PartyGaming - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 105.5 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 6)
UTG: 125 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
MP: 117.5 BB (VPIP: 36.00, PFR: 4.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
Hero (CO): 113.5 BB
BTN: 103 BB (VPIP: 8.00, PFR: 4.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 25)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.68, PFR: 9.59, 3Bet Preflop: 4.55, Hands: 75)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A<font color='black'>♣</font> A<font color='black'>♠</font>

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, fold

Flop: (7 BB, 2 players) 7<font color='red'>♥</font> T<font color='black'>♣</font> K<font color='red'>♦</font>
SB checks, Hero bets 5 BB, SB calls 5 BB

Turn: (17 BB, 2 players) 6<font color='black'>♣</font>
SB checks, Hero bets 10 BB, SB calls 10 BB

At this point I felt sure SB had made his straight so I wasn't going to put any more chips in the pot.

River: (37 BB, 2 players) 6<font color='black'>♠</font>
SB checks, Hero checks

SB shows 8<font color='red'>♥</font> 9<font color='black'>♠</font> (Straight, Ten High) (Pre 18%, Flop 33%, Turn 100%)
Hero mucks A<font color='black'>♣</font> A<font color='black'>♠</font> (Two Pair, Aces and Sixes) (Pre 82%, Flop 67%, Turn 0%)
SB wins 35.5 BB

Thanks!

Erik

Must have a soulread to put him on a straight and check back that river.

Bet/Fold every street. I would size between 22-30BB on the river.

You played well, like your bet sizing was good at the flop, you made a big bet (approx. 3/4 of the pot) making his pot odds - 2.4 : 1. Well at the turn your bet was a smaller which is ok having that turn card. The only thing that I can spot here is your pre-flop raise(3BB) which is considered to be a slowplaying for AA and slowplaying AA is not good most of the time.
And yeah check back was obviously the best move you could have done at river.
