Nice hand. I would say that it may be a bit loose to raise pre with 10 9 suited, but sometimes these plays have to be made, especially from the button, to keep your opponents guessing. It was good to see you play the waiting game on the flop and turn, as a re-raise on the turn may have forced him to fold. Well played to you and to me it looks like your game is going the right way.

As a side what did you opponent have? I'm guessing a big pair or over pair to the board, perhaps 10 10 or JJ? If he had AA or KK he would have raised you all in pre?, (or should have), Gl in the future
