large bet on that kind of flop is usually air. I'd probable my a small value bet to try and get A high to call. If he's calling 2 streets, he'll call another.

How is this "6-max" with 8 players on the table?

Anyway, with no reads on the opponent, and assuming there is no flush possibility, I would play pretty much the same way, except for probably making a 1/3 to 1/2 pot size bet on the river trying to get a call from 8x or smaller pocket pairs (44, 55, 77). When villain checks the river, it's unlikely he has a 6, letting you check behind and get a cheap showdown. So I'd bet for value here.

But I guess checking behind for information is also valid. Other valid options would be 3betting pre flop (specially if other players are too active) and raising the flop to protect your pair (you wouldn't like to see any broadway cards on the turn).

Nice played .I don't know if I would dare to call such a raise on the flop , cause I would put in his range some overpairs as well , if it was a zoom 2nl I wouldn't call his flop bet , he would surely have AA, KK, or set . That's 2nl zoom hehe:)
