I folded cuz i felt he wasnt capable of betting overcards but overpairs in his range. I didnt have a 6 in his range unless hes booked it

I called because i felt it was an ez hand to play .. meaning i always knew where i was in the hand and wasnt going to hit tough spots

In the end, the way the hand was played, checking the river here was the mistake i think.

If you are leading out the flop and the turn then you should lead out on the river as well on that board. That way it is less likely of you getting bluffed or villain attempting a value bet with a better hand. Sometimes you'll get better hands to fold as an over pair cannot beat a straight or better and we can keep representing one of them hands.

Lead out and fold to a raise - simple. :)

Or else take a different line since the beginning(flop most probably).
