Only had about 20 hands on villain so far. He was bout 24/20 and hadn't 3-bet yet. I did consider raising flop but decided it would fold out most PP's that I might get 2 streets out of. Based on his reg-y VPIP/PFR I thought he could have AQ but didn't know if he was stacking it so I decided to just call down. Turn sucks and I doubt he is betting AJ here now that I think about it. Can we fold turn/river here if we are either behind or chopping?

Edit - or 4-bet/GII pre?

If he ever has KQ or a worse Ace you pretty much have to call both barrels. If not you got some info. You played it fine imo.

well played. Don't 4bet because you can't stand a shove vs an unknown.

4-betting is fine here 4 handed. Don't mind a call since you have position either. Calling down here is fine, but I'd prefer raising the flop. If he doesn't have an Ace, unlikely at these stakes you'll get much more action. If he does, then you're stacking him probably 100% of the time.

4b GII is good here too but calling is ok and i think you have to call down, but river is a sigh call

ok so lets say he 4bet and villain 5bet/shove. what now? Do you call a shove vs an unknown with AKs? You put yourself in a bad spot when you could simply call his 3bet in position. Or do you prefer to go all in over his 3bet? I don't understand how can this be +EV vs UNKNOWN ! please someone explain.

1- Villain folds, we take dead money
2- It's 2nl, villains are awful and can show up with worse hands
3- We are not just 4 betting AA, KK which would make us seriously seriously exploitable (maybe not as this stake as they all suck at poker).

If he 4 bets, then it's a snap call to villains 5 bet, not even considering folding once he 4 bets otherwise it's just a waste of money as we have 40% equity vs QQ+ (or so I have been told countless times).

I would re-raise on flop. But calling is also quite reasonable option here.
