So, I'm a bit confused. I don't use a HUD atm, so my info might be a bit limited so I went with intuition.
I was putting him on a tighter range of hands, possibly KK, AA, AQ or something like that. And when I hit the jack on turn I figured why not letting him keep betting? How would you guys do?
Also, he was russian ofc so I should've seen it coming.

I would say - NL2 Zoom WITH a HUD is "yay", but WITHOUT - "nay". It is quite crucial, especially at that speed, to have a HUD, I think. And well, I couldn't put him on 86s either. Players tend to be on their tighter side in Zoom, so their ranges are narrower as well. Obviously, as it can be seen by this experience, there are exceptions.

As for the hand itself - I wouldn't even call the 3-bet preflop. :)

Well, maybe the 3-bet call was bad, I only called because I had position on him. Guys like that tend to be a little... Overly aggressive so to say.

As played i'm fine until the turn... Just jam once he bets into us and let the poker gods sort us out.

Just becareful though because the higher his 3bet the less -ev it is for us to make this call.

Calling 3bet in 2NL zoom without a note saying he is weird player (stubborn caller, way too aggressive, over values top pair etc… ) is nay. So I would name the only mistake here the calling of 3bet, not a big mistake if you are good post flop. Btw your open size is nonstandard for NL2 so you will get unpredicted behavior by some, would make your play easier if 3bb.
Calling river is probably breakeven (try Equilab), so egal.
Not having a hud is ok imo, but only if you are willing to write notes you can shine.

1. You aren't deep enough to consider calling preflop and you should sit with 100bb.
Most players will look at a stack of $1.88 and think you are fishy. Having the same stack size at the start of the hand makes all your bet sizing uniform/easier and its easier to work out your odds and you win the max with your best hands.
Even with 100bb readless its still a fold, you want more like 130-150bb to start considering calling with a drawing hand like this. Having more chips allows you to get deeper into the hand and see more cards before pot commitment issues arise.
2. Shove the turn, you have top 2 pair and are very likely to be ahead at that point. You don't want to see an Ace or K or a heart which will all affect the action.
The river is just a cooler, 3 times out of 4 you will win this hand when he misses his heart.
