$2 NLHE 6-max: 2NL: When to lay down top pocket pair post flop
Hey guys, I have these two hands where I'm not sure if I should have laid down premium pocket pairs post flop or not. They're a little different, but they deal with the same issue so I hope it's alright if I post them both in the same thread.
I'm writing these hands out the long way; I used PT4 to convert them and c/p the note document it created but it was miles long and not at all like the other threads, so I hope this is an acceptable format.
Hero on button with QdQs. Folds to hero; hero opens 0.06
Small blind folds
Big blind (villain) calls (unknown villain, 4 hand history).
Flop - $0.13 pot
10c 9d 3s
Villain checks, Hero bets $0.08, Villain calls.
Turn - $0.29 pot
Villain checks, Hero bets $0.16, Villain raises $0.32, Hero calls.
River - $0.93 pot
Villain bets $0.64, Hero calls.
Total pot $2.21
Hero big blind with KsKd.
Villain opens UTG, calls $0.02.
Folds to Hero, Hero raises $0.08. Villain reraises $0.17, Hero calls.
Flop - $0.35 pot
Hero checks, Villain bets $0.34, Hero calls.
Turn - $1.03 pot
Hero checks, Villain bets $0.99, Hero raises all in $1.62, Villain calls.
Total pot $4.27
Thanks in advance guys, this is my first time posting hand analysis so again, sorry if I got the format wrong.
