This seems like a good play to me, especially against a loose passive player.

Looking at it I'm ok with it. I posted another hand similar to it which now looking at them I can see what I didn't notice how different the scenarios were.

I think it was good too. Generally speaking 3way , 3bet pot, no draws (but turn some), A on the flop, TPGK is hardly ever good when the stacks go in. In this hand though, I can't find any better way to play it. Maybe someone finds it.

I would check the flop to the raiser nearly always. You are at an information disadvantage so you should check and see what he does. The way you played it you gave him all the information and allowed him to play perfectly against you.You said he was passive So when he 3bets he won't usually be as light as he was. AK is all over his range and you are just firing into it with worse.
I check call flop and then probably fold turn if bets big again especially if he's passive.

I feel that by betting into him on the flop and shoving the turn it’s overplaying your hand a little bit. He’s never really going to be calling with worse on the turn after already calling the raise on the flop with no draws. Me personally I would’ve probably checked the flop, called a bet on the turn, and either called river depending on bet size or folded river to an all in. I think it’s better in a situation like that to use your hand as a bluff catcher and lose the minimum if you’re wrong than to overplay it and be wrong anyways.

Hero is playing against the blinds who both checked to him on the flop. 3 better was the sb. I bet the flop.

what was SB's image?

I feel like I'd 4bet fold here pre. Feels like a good 4bet spot.
I don't feel comfortable flatting this in a 3way pot even if you are in position. If I had AQs, probably. But I try to avoid there kind of spots cause in face of hyper aggression you'd be mostly guessing where you are imo.

If I were to flat like this, I'd likely check the flop.
The board is dry so betting is fine I guess but what ranges are you targeting to get value from in an A high, 3 way 3 bet pot in this situation?
Which hands would play for stacks in this multiway situation?

Question?

I've been perusing a few different threads (30+ posts in) and on the cash game strat thread, I've stumbled on a kinda short hand people seem to be using to break down hands, I know the game well enough, but I need to learn the short hand... any tips on where to learn?
