I would never fold. His line doesn't really make any sense at all, and we have significant equity against everything. Even if he has a set we have plenty of equity and implied odds to get more on the river. I would call and evaluate the river.

well you certainly cannot fold under any circumstance here. He is giving you incredible pot odds on the turn. Even if he accidentally showed u his cards and he had QQ, we are still continuing with the hand. Like the other posts say, his line doesn't make much sense unless he holds a set. Something like 22 or the less likely 66/88. (88 kinda makes the most sense). Even if we just call the turn raise, a Q on the river is the only card that would cause enough concern to make us consider folding. I think the pot odds would be too good to fold to any other river card. Therefore, I think moving in is the best move here.
Good Luck

Yeah what everyone else is saying. Folding the turn at those pot odds would be atrocious.

Not keen with raising an utg limp with this hand even in position. I'm still seeing plenty of utg limp traps with AA and KK in which case you're going to have to fold pre a certain amount of the time.
Anyway as played the SB has flatted oop with the UTG still to act so the SB is either quite strong or a total fish.
So the question for me is do we shove or just call on the turn.
If we shove it's for value right because we are never folding out better. So what do we beat that calls? AQ is very possible and if he's a fish he's calling. The other thing we want a call from are other flush draws, but are those hands raising on the turn? And if we are looking from a call from a FD we actually need it to miss on the end as it's likely to be a better FD than ours.
It makes much more sense to me on such a dry disconnected board that we have flush blocker to that this is a set raising.
I don't rule out QQ here bearing in mind the preflop action, sets of 66 88 22 in the order.
In which case I'm calling and reevaluating on the river rather than turn shoving.

This was exactly my thoughts. I decided to shove on the turn.

Unfortunately, villain did have QQ. I totally did not expect that.

Fortunately, I hit my flush on the river and won. But results don't matter. What matters is that I misread my opponent.

My opinion

It's not a good idea to bet an 8-6. Even when suited. Bad things happen.
