Alright, so I have played a session at 2NL today and there was one hand bugging me. My question is if I should have continued in this hand especially because I thought the villain was quite loose.

Here is the hand history:

PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: $2.04
BTN: $2.13 (VPIP: 46.15, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 16)
SB: $2.04 (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
Hero (BB): $2.02
UTG: $0.93 (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
MP: $2.00 (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 16)

SB posts SB $0.01, Hero posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has Q Q

UTG calls $0.02, MP raises to $0.08, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.06, UTG calls $0.06

Flop: ($0.25, 3 players) K J 4
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks

Turn: ($0.25, 3 players) 3
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.06, fold, Hero calls $0.06

River: ($0.37, 2 players) A
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.18, fold

UTG wins $0.36

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hard to tell, but I think a fold is good there.

You can start by 3 betting pre instead of playing QQ multiway OOP

3-bet pre... bet the turn at least once it's been checked through. Call river. What hand does he have that he checks flop, bets turn that small and than 1/2 pots river? AT maybe, but unlikely. Think you have to call once you play it like that.

Preflop: you should have raised to $0.26, rather than flat-calling.
Flop: Ideally you would C-bet this, but since you don't have the initiative (because you flatted preflop), then checking is fine.
Turn: I would actually prefer to lead out on the turn for something like 80% pot and try to take it down. The villains could easily just have a single club or a gutshot here and you don't want to price them in. It's possible that they have a K, but it's also possible they'll call you with a hand like AJ, AT or a single club.
River: Check-folding here is fine, but ideally, you should never have reached the river this way.

According to betsizing tells... river is a fold our villain bets just under 1/4 bet and then he bets 1/2 on the river.

He ain't afraid and trying to get a crying call off you.

3betting pre is best. But cbetting here is a mistake. Especially when you think your just folding out better hands and your opponents only to continue when your beat.

Turns a blank so checking would be fine again

And calling river would be preferable then.
