Hey guys,
I just lost with two Pairs against a set :

My last bet on the river was actually a value bet because I thought I was in front. My opponent tried to steal the blinds quite often during the game, so his open raise could mean anything.
Of course he could have had a straight but I blocked a Combo of 4-5 and I put him on an Ace or a medium pair. Was i wrong to bet for value on the river ?

Hi. You had no way to tell that he was that strong, imo betting was fine after you hit two pair on the river.

It was good to bet river. The bet size, imo, should be a bit smaller than a pot 1/2 to 3/4.

You should bet 1/2 pot and fold on his re-raise. You haven't much value on river here. He could catch straight (A5, K5s), flush and of course set, and slow play from turn.
