Do you think I played this correctly? The 2 cent donk bets really threw me off... any idea what the villain could've had?

Typically treat these bets as a check. You played the hand fine. Only thing you beat at this point is missed hearts but plenty other hands you lose too. You will print money off these guys long term so just move on. I have level'd myself into calling in these spots before and they usually show up with middle/top pair weak kicker that they are never folding. When they bet 1BB on turn and you call they pretty much know they are good so they pot river.

+1. And it's not a turn you want to raise, so just calling is fine. Probably had K3 or something. :)
