Hand History driven straight to this forum with DriveHUD Poker HUD & Database

NL Holdem $0.02(BB)
BB ($3.18)
HJ ($1.93)
HERO ($3.59)
BTN ($2)
SB ($3.94)

Dealt to Hero Q:spade: Q:club:

HJ Raises To $0.05 (Rem. Stack: 1.88), HERO Raises To $0.18 (Rem. Stack: 3.41), BTN Raises To $0.45 (Rem. Stack: 1.55), SB Folds, BB Folds, HJ Folds, HERO Calls $0.27 (Rem. Stack: 3.14)

Flop ($0.98) T:diamond: 8:spade: J:club:
HERO Checks, BTN Bets $0.7 (Rem. Stack: 0.85), HERO Folds

BTN wins $1.63

Without any stats on V, I felt a 4bet was too much, so opted to set mine, hoped for no flop aggression, to re-evaluate then. Without some loose stat I am pretty strict AA,KK 4bettor.

Figured when I called 3bet, I was looking on normal range of AA, KK, AK, QQ, AK, TT. AA, KK, JJ, TT have me smoked, so I put tail between my legs.

So, what do you think, was I being weak here?

Hey . On nl2 seldom do 4bet with TT JJ . There is a strong spectrum. Here it's better to fold preflop . If you are from Usa or canada, then there is a small proposal. skype - poker.grechka99 -

I haven't done the forum thing in some time. Please clarify what this means. You have gained my interest.

thin or weak

I think I would not have been able to fold that hand, you have a gut shot str8 draw and an over pair....Without having seen the Villain play, hell of a fold.
would have been nice to see his cards....lol

You can mostly just fold to 4bet pre. You can not just set mine when calling, for that you need to win minimum 10x. So 10x 0.27 = 2.7 and you can only win 2.28. So if you call you need to win the hand with other merits than sets time to time.

Typical 4bet range by reg is KK+ in 6max zoom NL2 and NL5 pokerstars. If he thought you are isolating then the range also includes some worse hands. Also on later positions especially blinds, ranges for some widens and include also but very rarely bluffs.

Sizing of both the cold 4bet and the cbet stink of value it's a tight fold but probably right. If I had any indications that the raiser was a reg who can 4bet AK then I call intending to call it off. On combos alone if he can do this with AK just ģet your money in, if it's only aces and Kings then fold.
