This is a big hand I had on Cake Poker I'm fairly new to the site and have no history with any of the players.

2/4 NL Holdem. 9 handed. 800 stacks. I'm in the cut-off position with 6h6s. UTG limps, a player in middle position limps as well, and I call in the cut-off. The button raises to 70, everyone calls including the BB, UTG, middle position player and myself. Flop is:

Jh10h6c

BB checks, UTG bets 90, middle position folds, I call, button raises to 450. BB pushes all in, UTG thinks then folds. What do I do? Why? And for fun what does the BB and Button have?

You can't be calling off ~1/10 of your stack here preflop and then be folding when you hit a set. I instastack this. Sucks if he oversetted u here.

I agree. What do you think of just calling the utg raise on the flop? I just had one of those feelings that the button would reraise and I could more easily get it allin.

it's a bit risky to do that on a feeling, imo. There are so many cards that can scare you / kill your action on turn that i really prefer getting it in on flop, so if BTN folds or calls, it's just not happening.

Also, i would play my draws very aggressively on such a board, so i kind of need/want to play a set the same way.

Yes it was risky but since the button over raised preflop i just figured he was a weak player with KK who was just scared to play a hand post flop incase a ace hit the flop and since it didnt i knew hed be stacking off and a two pair hand would look him up idk but other than that I would never slow play a set on this board
