More from my 4 tabling exercises.

UTG is ~26/1 but with only 15 hands or so. If that's at all really reflective of his play then I'm only set mining.

pokerstars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($3.65)
UTG ($8.75)
UTG+1 ($15.85)
MP1 ($8.95)
MP2 ($2.60)
Hero ($8.35)
CO ($7.30)
Button ($19.95)
SB ($8.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T

UTG raises to $0.4, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.40, 4 folds.

Flop: ($0.95) 5

UTG bets $0.5, Hero raises to $1.2, UTG raises to $2.4, Hero ??

My thinking was that there is a chance this is a standard c-bet if he's got a high pocket pair.

Was the raise a wasted $1.20?

Probably. I like a call better (or even a fold). We'll slow JJ+ down, and obviously save money vs Ax.

Any other under pair will have a hard time firing a second bullet on the turn with us smooth calling behind him, and we can maybe take the pot down with a turn bet if he checks to us.

I like your plan better than mine, Chuck. At least that way I would get to see the turn.

Sigh. I have problems with a leeettle too much aggression popping up at times.

He's 26/1, so I take it he doesn't cb very often, I may be wrong here. So a fold is my play here. Not sure I like a call, if he's a loose passive and bets the flop I think he's betting the turn. I don't mind your r/r here... because when he 3-bets here at least you now know your beat. It probably saves you money later on.
