This is my first or second orbit so no reads on villain. On the turn, I hate these situations where I'm out of position with just one pair. I couldn't think of many hands that would cold-call two raises pre-flop and call the flop with that I beat (or chopped with if he has AK, and he would be free rolling me if he had the Kh). He only has $5.35 left, so I need to decide now whether to felt the hand. Should I just plan on felting TPTK in a 3-bet pot?

Get awwwllll eeeen. You can't fold to a $5.35 bet, and you have TPTK in a 3-bet pot. Not to mention flush draws are a much smaller part of his range in 3-bet pots.

Btw - 3-bet like a man and make it $1.80 to see the flop.

MP3,

When you reraised to $1.20 pre-flop you are declaring that you are willing to play for stacks with AK (it's over 10% of your stack). You can't really put CO on calling with 76 or 2 hearts. CO may have been set mining but doesn't really have the stack for it given your raise. Sometimes no matter what you do an opponent is going to get lucky in that you hit a great flop and they happen to hit a better flop. If CO happened to call with crap, hit a great flop, and then gets his implied odds then it is just not your day. If he called and hit a set, once again not really your day given stack sizes. Your stacks are just not deep enough to avoid getting felted or at the least crippled. IMO, you maintain the aggression and push. You beat the range of hands your opponent most likely holds.

Thanks for the advice, guys. One question, though:

Btw - 3-bet like a man and make it $1.80 to see the flop.

Really? A pot-sized raise would have been to $1.35. Was $1.20 really that weak?

Its not that its weak, its that we want him to fold/pay the maximum to play against us with a dominated hand. They'll still call for a larger 3-bet with stuff like AQ, so why not maximize our edge?

$1.20 is okay, but it just doesn't accomplish much other than making the pot size bigger at these smaller limits.

We have an SPR of 2 (effective remaining stack of $7.85 / preflop pot $3.75). Not getting all-in with TPTK would be a big mistake.
