I really need PAHUD and PT so I can give you stats on the villains in each of my hand analysis posts. No reads either.
This hand occurred during a 10NL 6-tabling session I had yesterday.
What do we make of the limp/min-raise from villain?
I made the standard pre-flop raise with 1 limper in the pot, and get 1 immediate caller and them a min-raise from original limper. At this point I am putting villain on 1010+ and AK.
How do we handle this tiny bet?

I like a raise to about $2 maybe a little bit more..If he comes over the top of that you probably have to fold because you have no reads on him.

On another note I don't know if 6 tabling without PT and PAHud is a very good idea there is no way you can keep track of every game you're playing in. You shouldn't be thinking that you need to stats just to give to use when you post for analysis you really need it for when you're playing to know if the guy is a maniac or not.

I know. It is just from past experience people have given me non-helpful answers like "without stats/reads this is irrelevant".
I really just want the straightforward style of playing this hand.

Also I have not purchased PT because they do not run it on macs, and at 10NL, you do not really need them quite yet anyways.
+I can't afford PT right now, even though it is an investment I am willing to make in the near future, especially if I see it out on macs.

As a general rule, whatever Schedo2009 re-raised you, I'd raise about double.
He bet $.70, so add $1.40 to that. So make it $2 or so.

With Mr Macavoy still in the pot, I'd be apt to bet a little more, $2.25 or so to isolate yourself with that out-of-position check-raiser Schedo2009.

And of course, if Mr Macavoy is a calling station, you might even want to bet a little more.
I don't see Schedo2009's check/raise as a sign of strength as I do as a sign of fishiness. I'd be willing to play for stacks pre-flop unless I'd seen him slow play big hands before.
Check-raising, and then only raising the minimum? Ick!

Also I have not purchased Poker Tracker because they do not run it on macs, and at 10NL, you do not really need them quite yet anyways.

I believe theres some pokersites you can sign up for where you can get pokertracker for free with first deposit and a bonus code. And as far as not being compatible with mac, I think it will work if you use virtual pc to run it, although i'm not for certain you may want to check into it. If you are gonna be 6 tabling it is almost a neccessity for you to get PT or some tracking software of some sort. Without it you are really just playing the cards and not the player, you may be able to do that at 10nl for the most part, but it really helps with the big decisions where your in a big pot and are not sure what to do. The more information you have at your disposal the better your winrate will be and the more accurate your decisions, regardless of the stakes you are playing.

I did a search and found MacPoker Pro. It looks like it does what PokerTracker does, and even has the ability to give you "real-time session data" on your opponents. I assume that works like PokerAce.

It looks like it's $39.95, but you can download the trial version and test it out for 1,000 hands.

If it's half the program that PokerTracker is, it's worth the investment.
