re: Poker & 10NL Pocket 10s What do you think??
I dunno; he's really fading away with those lead bets. I'm not sure whether that means he's losing steam but thinks he needs to keep betting, or whether that's a mathematical relationship between streets he thinks is valid for something. If he had a set or two pair, you'd think he'd keep the pressure up.
My preference would have been to repop the flop. To me, his bet says he paired the eight, likely with an Ace, or, has the flush draw and wants to block you from betting him out of the draw. If you want to let him keep drawing with it, I guess you can just call, but I'd try to take it down on the flop.
His shrinking bet on the river indicates it wasn't an eight, maybe as weak as a paired 4? Or, he thinks he needs to keep his bet progression.
