Like the title says villain is a huge call station.
67/3/0.4 (50 hands)
Seems to like straightdraws a lot and uses his biggish stack to draw I think.

Seat 5: entYy ($10.00)
Seat 8: Mandrake6969 ($15.79)
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to entYy [Th Td]
rollo@tomasi folds
entYy raises to $0.35
96gnik folds
27Pickpocket calls $0.35
Mandrake6969 calls $0.35
Nels0n folds
MrHub59 folds
JB1974 folds
__P.M__ folds
*** FLOP *** [8s 6c 7h]
entYy bets $0.70
27Pickpocket folds
Mandrake6969 calls $0.70
*** TURN *** [3c]
entYy bets $1.80
Mandrake6969 calls $1.80
*** RIVER *** [4d]
entYy checks
Mandrake6969 bets $6.20
entYy folds
Uncalled bet of $6.20 returned to Mandrake6969
*** SUMMARY ***
Mandrake6969 collects $5.89

Suggestions on my play up to the river ?
And is it a call or obvious fold ?

Looks solid to me. Maybe make your PFR a little larger if you're playing TAG. But other than that, I'm totally down with this hand.

That huge value bet on the river is really scary and I think your fold is probably warranted since he could have hit the straight, had a set, or somehow made a crappy two pair to beat you. The low end of his range here is TPTK I think so the fold is good.

Against this guy maybe make your cbets 75% of pot instead of 66% but I doubt it would have changed the fate of things.

Also - Use the HH converter! Also x2 - C9 will get upset if you post the results so hide em next time so we can debate.

I don't take issue with how this hand was played, personally would have gone about things differently, but what do i know, I'm about to drop back down to the .02/.05 after getting raped like it was my first day in federal prison when i stepped up to .10/.25. I keep my pocket pair preflop raises to jacks or better, and if this was .02/.05 I would have only raised to .20 if I was going to. 4x the big blind to open seems to get all the calls you want, without being so strong as to push out anything non-premium hands. As played I think I like a blocking bet on the river, maybe 2 or 2.50, probably 2. If he can raise this he has you beat, but if you have him beat odds are he's still calling. I'd guess he has a pocket pair or a big slick under there because of the call of the large bet size, but if it's .5/.10, then he could have anything, and I'd have raised preflop to .40 if I was going to.

Oops I meant to hide the results.
Forgot to delete the last few lines of the hand.
Meant to cap it off at his pot bet and ask for call / fold guidelines.

So you like a 40c (4x) better preflop? Even from EP ?

And about the converter. Everest HH is really shitty so I don't think it will work. I found a beta of a home made converter for Everest but it don't work :(.

Or even 4.5x. Most of your edge against these guys is preflop & on the flop, so you'd like a little bit larger raise so you can get more value on the early streets.
