Man I hate it when I have KK and an ace flops and it seems to happen so often. $.30 is a small bet, and you might have the best hand so call and see what he does on the turn. You'll have position for the rest of the hand so you can let the hand play out more. If he makes a big bet on the turn he probably has an ace and you can fold, if he checks then you should bet since he might be drawing.

Yuck.

Villain's line really isn't that strong though, and the flop bet is way small. Any reads on the villain?

I'm thinking based on that line, this could be a few things: it could be a queen, it could be a draw, or it could be a weak ace. Or it could be AQ or something else that's got you crushed. But I don't think you're automatically beat here.

So, against a thinking player I might throw in a raise here - maybe I can push the weak aces off, and if I get called or raised I can re-evauate.

The catch is the "thinking player" bit though... since this is FT's micro limit, you're not guaranteed that they're thinking and you don't want to raise into a donk calling station that's going to go all the way with ace-rag.

Without any reads... I dunno, call me weak but I think I just file this in the "too hard / too risky" basket and just fold. There's value to be had here from weak hands, but we stand to lose a big chunk of change if we make the wrong read.

I hate it when members do not give this info, but I don't have stats or reads on this particular opponent. Sorry

Well if you don't have em, you don't have em, but explaining that in the first post helps with analysis :)

I don't think there's too much wrong with folding, but I'll often see people do this with a lot of weird hands. I probably call and reevaluate the turn. Our goal here is a cheap showdown.
