I really think you're good almost 100% of the time here so I'd shove. 8% is a fairly tight raising range in 6-max, so I think he has overpairs, AJ or smaller sets and almost never A4/64.

His range is going to be a lot wider than flushes here. Such as smaller sets, possibly TT-AA, pairs+flushdraw. Maybe some combo draw like Adkc. I would stick the rest in here, worst case scenario he has the flush but you still have 10 outs against it

His play is definitely a little confusing, but it's not because he's a good poker player.

As was mentioned before (even though he is a fish) his 8% PFR is relatively tight and he is UTG. Your 3-bet preflop is weak giving him pretty good odds to call at a little better than 2:1, and you don't end up isolating him.

-Just a side question...does anyone think calling preflop for set-mining purposes would have been better, and if not what is the reasoning behind 3-betting this type of opponent?

I think a push is the best option. You don't have much, if any, fold equity (he's got around $8 left), but you have to charge draws (AK w/ a diamond, possibly other overcard combos) and over pairs (QQ-AA) that may think they are good or have a diamond in their hand.

Yeah, I think I prefer a call here against this player, although we don't have to play it strictly for setvalue that way. An exception for me would be if he's putting in most of his action from utg. Some players have erratic styles where they treat utg like the button, so I usually check pfr by position.

Hello,

Check raise all in. Villian could have a big pocket pair with a diamond or a big ace with a diamond. With top set I would never fold here and I want to get it all in on the turn.

Certainly a tough spot.

Generally when players with an aggression factor this low lead into you it's going to be a strong hand.

I think 22 33 and these hands are more likely to check/raise flop than to lead when the flush completes.

I would probably call in this spot and evaluate on river if I wanted to call the last bet or not.

8% is tight; not quite using both sides of the toilet paper tight, but not far off:
8% open is literally AA-99 (maybe 8's) + AK-AJ +ATs, KQ and KJs. Thats it!

The 3 bet I think is fine. Against such a tight range I'm not sure if it is great but you are certainly ahead of some of his range just not much.

The flop is obviously great for you and you extract as much value as possible from all possible draws and over pairs.

The donk into you on the turn (when the flush gets in) is suspicious. You only have to be good about 22% of the time to make this call. You have 10 outs so it is almost the right price to call. On top of that sometimes he checks the river and you just win against over pair with a diamond. If he bets river It's probably a fold although for the right price I still might call to get some info on the opponent and make a note on him (sometimes that is more valuable than the smallish price he puts out on the river)
