He has AA/KK. JJ is tough to play OOP let alone against someone showing ultimate aggression. Without hitting your set this is a fold. It's OK to go broke with QQ here. We can all empathize.

How can you justify going broke with QQ is ok, but JJ isnt on this board?

I see where your coming from saying he has to have AA or KK

it is a fold imo, although you may feel pot commited after the raise on the flop.

Because QQ fares better against villain's range here than JJ.

If you wanna see where he's at why not ch/call instead, and see if he's willing to fire another barrel on the turn. If he checks behind theres a decent chance your still good, and you risk less chips this way.

Think about your opponent's range and what the best play on the flop is. What if he has an overpair? What about overcards? An underpair? Which part of his range is most likely? What's the ideal line against his whole range?

By check-raising the flop, you're essentially a) giving money to bigger pairs, b) scaring off overcards and c) generally shutting down underpairs
