How often is he completing the SB?

Folding second nuts, even against a player this nitty, is probably never +EV.

He certainly appears to be nitty, even so there's no way im folding here. The only hand that beats us is KQ. I think he could do this with 78, and sets as well(possibly 2 pair?). As played I call.

There as many combinations of 78 as there are KQ out there for him to do this with since you hold one of each, mix in some two pair and possible sets hands, I don't see that you can fold this. Additionally this is BvB depending on what he might think of you he might be bluffing the 'scare" card.

just my thoughts, as usual fwiw, I don't play 10nl yet :D

Make smallish fistpump then call??? I would NEVER even consider folding this. If he's got KQ so be it. There are as many possible sets on this board as there are KQ combos (thanks FP :) ) add in 87 for worse straights, 2 pairs, flush draws, piss poorly played overpairs, and bluffs and you have a if-you-ever-fold-this-you're-an-idiot hand.

Edit to add: According to Pokerstove you have 73% equity against a range comprised entirely of straights, sets, flushdraws, and 2 pair hands. No bluffs and no overs included. Change my 1st line to make largish fistpump then call.

:p

No, it's always neutral EV...

Players who complete the SB almost always either have weak hands that can't stand to a raise, or have hands strong enough to see a flop, but you get to see it with initiative and position, so you have the advantage. Raise pf %100 of the time.

As played I can't really fold. He could have slowplayed an overpair, a set, could have two pair, could be a monster draw, could be a smaller straight, could be a lot of things. Too many non-KQ hands in his range not to call here.

Never. A cooler is a cooler. You just maximize your profits against the rest of his range, which is definitely far more than KQ.
