fold preflop and you would avoid it

but once you hit your flush you'll go broke everytime

My advice: Raise preflop, go broke on the turn.

Once again another hand when you did the right thing after the flop/turn but you just got a little unlucky... Look up the odds it does not happen very often ....

But maybe fold hands like that in the position your in?

Nut flush on an unpaired board I'm getting it in there! Really unfortunate cooler, no way to really avoid it imo. :(

Thanks everyone. I always hear about those big lay downs was just making sure that this wasn't one of those moments where I could have thought about it.

If anything other than "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'M TAKING THIS FISH'S MONEY" crossed your mind before the money went in, you're doing something wrong.

Lol, yes this is exactly my thought as well. You have what's as good as the nuts. Nut flush on non-paired board. You win this 99.99% of the time, maybe more.

you know you are weak tight when...

when........what........ you think after to make sure there isn't anything else to consider? One thing I was told was after a hand either winning or losing was to make sure I considered every angle.

It seems to be a pretty common problem among many members here - focus on completely wrong situations that hardly ever come up and where there is nothing you could or ever want to do and ignore the hundreds of little situations that come up every session where you are just bleeding money. Even considering how you could possibly have "minimized your loss" with the nut flush on a non-paired board is very disturbing and probably indicates that you try to look for far too many excuses to play very weak tight.

There are only two things you should analyse in this hand. First is the turn flat when you should always be 3 betting to $5 or so and getting it in. There are many action killing cards that could fall on the river (any spade makes a Q fold and possibly a small turned flush, a Q might make villain fold a Q fold you have the ace high straight and at best they can only chop, etc.) Villain has something and isn't folding on the turn and your hand can't possibly improve so flatting the turn is very bad. Second is the fact that you limped behind on the CO when you would be far better off raising and isolating the limper or folding.

Those 2 little things are thousands of times more important than your OP question because these type of situations come up often and cost you far far more than being unable to fold a big hand could ever do.

Ty feitr. When I originally posted this I wasn't to concerned about the outcome. I was more looking at where I could have played it differently or maybe a different thought process. As many have pointed out raising preflop there was a better play (maybe QT might have folded). I thank you for making me realize the turn flat call was wrong. That is more along the line of the information I need to help improve my thought process during the game.
