What is our best move here ?
I'm assuming bet, but how much then ?
What can we put the villain on, is it going to be a split pot and will we just fuel the rake ? What do you think of my flop bet ? And what do you think about the size of it?

What's up with posting a dead blind?

And at 10$NL, I am not a fan of the flop bet with just a gutshot. And the flush draw missed, so you're likely going to get lots of folds on the river.

In this spot, I'd bet something like $2.50. We're trying to get worse hands to call here, and your line just looks so strong at this point. Some players are never folding 2 pair no matter how scary the board gets, but if your line goes pot/pot/pot its going to be hard to put you on any hand other than a straight.

ug don't ever post blind oop. Basically what C9 said. Flop bet is real bad because you aren't getting folds on taht board with that many players in there but just bet river and hoped to get looked up by 2 pair, although often it will be a split.

Sorry about the blind post :(.
I only did it cause I was EP and I wasn't running many tables (they were still starting up and only 3 others.)

So the flop bet is bad still after the whole table checked ?
It was actually more a steal than betting my gutshot..

If its a steal, then you need to be willing to fire 2-3 barrels when the draws miss. Players this bad are going to look you up with gutshots, flush draws, any ace, maybe any king. And with so many players, one of them will have such a hand. You're going to have to fire more than 1 street to steal this pot, and given that its 10$ NL, you still may not get people to fold a hand like A8.

In short don't bluff that flop into that many people. You're just not going to get enough folds to make it profitable, and triple barreling is really high variance and unnecessary.

As played we can bet any amount here, really. Small to induce one pair hands to call, medium to get sure calls from two pair+, or we could shove to hopefully get someone to outlevel themselves into calling with whatever.

If you want to steal a multiway pot then restrict it to flops like 227 or something that nobody is likely to hit. In terms of getting the fold on the river, then villain probably had a flush draw the whole way and you wouldn't have got a call no matter the sizing.

Dont like the oop blind post or the bet on flop, its not even semi bluff since you have up to 4 outs, if that. for the fold on the river only a weak player will call you imo
