Big blind has a bad habit of betting out with second-best hands, and is reasonably active.

Small blind / shover has been fairly tight over about 90 hands, but has been more active since he got felted a few rounds back by a LAG.

What's got me really thinking here is I've seen him do pretty much the exact same thing with QQ (the hand that felted him, vs a villain that hit a draw). I figure it's most likely JJ+, or a set - question is does that range sound accurate, and what do we do as a result?

I've been fairly TAG.

I'm not folding an over pair at these limits, and that board is fairly drawy.

Just 1 comment, why is your standard raise small when your hands are so much better on average? If I played full ring & taggy, I'd probably standard raise to 5x.

I think you played it ok. Because of the drawwy nature of the board I would tend to make my flop raise a little larger to about 3x or so, somewhere around 2.50. I would call the shove. Theres still going to be a pretty good number of hands you beat here that would be in a tags range, other than sets. JJ, QQ, flush and straight draws, combo draws he'll probably ship in.

*raises eyebrows*

Hadn't really thought about that - as an open raise, I'm normally betting 3 or 3.5BB. 4.5 if there's a limper or two. I'll try bumping it up some and see what the result is, cheers for the advice.

As for the flop raise that Richyl mentions, the sizing of that one was mostly an effort to keep the big blind in: like I said, the big blind had a habit of sticking around with second best type hands, something like middle pair or top pair weak kicker wouldn't be out of the question here. I thought the small blind was done after he checked the flop. D'oh.

Will wait to see if there's any other comments before getting to results.
