Villain in this hand is 16/13 ats 50% over just 80 hands, seems to be fairly straightforward, a little defend happy. I'm running at 14/10 40ats. (I realize folding preflop is a decent option.)

I dont overly mind it tbh as long as your betting that turn, and folding to reraise.

The pre-flop re-raise followed by check-call on the flop has me concerned about the strength of his hand. Imo he either has a set or overpair and is slowplaying trying to extract value from you or he has a hand like AK or AQ and doesn't want to fold to a bluff. You should be able to find out which with a bet on the turn, but the pot is now big enough that 1/2 to full pot bet will use a big part of your stack to possibly find out you are beat. In this spot I probably hope to check it down, but I am leaning in favor of believing you are behind in the hand.

I probably fold this preflop tbh. Even though his 3bet is slightly small, you are way behind a straightforward TAGs 3betting range.

Would'nt most people bet thier sets and overpairs on this flop? Or at the very least checkraise?
