There's a ton of hands villain could be minraising with, including 45 for a straight, any set, even some overpair and top pair hands, especially with the Ah kicker. Besides, he probably thinks you don't have the flush because you bet the flop, which this kind of fish does not do with draws.

When you play suited one-gappers, you can't start second guessing once you hit your flush. You will run into higher flushes from time to time, but that's a minor concern compared to not getting value from your flushes by playing scared.

Easy shove, and especially easy vs a fish. Flush over flush will happen on occasion, but getting all in with a flush is obviously going to be a hugely profitable play in the long run.

Fwiw, i've seen fish in nl100 stack off with tpbk on some boards, so i can only imagine what fish in nl10 would be willing to stack off with. You absolutely get this hand all in every time, and if the fish actually shows up with the nuts, which will happen once in almost never, then bad luck but there isn't anything that you can do.

Don't second guess yourself, your wish for this hand, came true, you hold the absolute nuts, villian here, could be min raising you with TPTK with the (H), a set, maybe 2 pair, who really knows, but more then likely your still ahead, and regardless, if he/she, does have the nuts, then so be it, once in awhile as others have stated shit happens, and that's all you can do, but in the end, I think you played this hand, just superbly

I was pretty sure I had him on the turn. I chose to just flat call and hope another heart doesn't come. The river was the nine of hearts, and he led out for $3.30. Considering the way I played it, and I had put him on the ace of hearts when I made the call, I laid it down. What do you guys think? It seems to be the only move I had because I didn't shove on the turn...

Just jam the turn. There's no need to get fancy against a calling station - just shove turn and let him call with AhX or A6 or whatever, there's no reason to call the turn.

flatting is terrible. When villain has one high heart card, two things can happen: a heart comes on river and you loose, or no heart comes and you won't get paid off. it's loose-loose

raising is good. Either villain folds and you don't loose the hands where a heart would have come on river, or villain calls and you play a bit pot with great equity. it's win-win

ok i just want to comment on this.. i have noticed in playing pokerstars.. that if you happen to hit a flush (your hole cards + 3 on board) it doesnt really matter wat you made your flush with because it seems to hold up even if its only a 4, 3 ... at least 85% of the time .. maybe more... the only time i lost with a flush is when a 4th comes on board..otherwise i have had good luck. I really like pokerstars because the quality of players overall is much better

** note ** this is my personal experience and it might not be the same for you
