I pump this up to 3 bucks, we have a big hand. A top pair which is unlikely to be beaten by a better kicker, with a gutshot and a flush draw. Im re raising and am willing to go all in even against a set

I take a chance on UTG+2 raising and call here. We are effectively letting ourselves get squeezed, and just taking a chance to trap a little dead money in the pot.

What's the plan if UTG+2 reraises to say $1.50, SB calls. Call again, let them build the pot, re-evaluate if one of our cards come on the turn?

We have just trapped 30xbb in the pot in that senario, i come alive then and 3/4 pot it.

Yeah by calling we trap a bunch of dead money, then we can reraise to isolate and get that FE we need.
