I can't believe you called all in on a flush draw... People seem to do that more often, and I think it's a horrible play, considering you only have a 20% chance of hitting on the river.

too many people try to get that flush..shouldn't call an allin trying to hit that flush but it would of been alright if you hit the flop

You already have a bet, your raise and then a re-raise all in, and a call of the all in in front of you post flop. I am letting this go at this point. If you had paired either of your cards and still had the outs with the flush draw, then I am shoving this right along with you but as played I think you are just spewing chips. You gotta know based on the bet your raise and the shove behind you, that when the money goes in you are behind in the majority of cases, so we are stacking off here with a hope and a prayer. The other alternative would be to ask yourself before you raise, "if I raise and he shoves what am I doing here?" If the answer to that question is I am calling, then shove instead of raise and you get some fold equity out of your shove. But as played, I am folding to the shove.

In the future when posting ha threads, don't post the results and you will get more discussion. I would have stopped the ha at the call by the small blind then ask for discussion on what your best play is at that point.

Overcards + flush draw in a threebet pot means you're never folding. You want your money in the middle. Stove some hands for our opponents range on this board vs our hand. We have great equity.

I just shove the flop though.

Preflop: Fine

Flop: Raise more, I'd have made it about $4 or so. Call shove.

As played...

Easy call.

$20.30 in the pot when the decision is on you. $7.75 to call so you're getting 2.6:1 on a call which is a good price considering you have 9 flush outs and 6 overcard outs. If one of them has a set then your overcard outs are no good, but you still have your fd outs.

I would have chased it too not only because of the flush draw but also you had the ace king over cards.Plus with that flop he could have been chasing the straight or flush himself if he has been betting loose.

3-bet pot + overcards + nut flush draw = never fold

Just shove over the first bet, there's already $6 in the pot. I fistpump shove here even.

Thanks guys, I kinda felt as if I did the right thing but just not all in the right steps. I raised according to the donk bettor bet size not paying attention to the $5.50 in the pot. I realize since I have just about the pot size bet I can shove the flop with possible FE and even if I dont I still have 15 outs but in reality probably 13 clean outs, which leaved me around %50 equity against JJs

i agree with some people tht its not a good play because u have 3 plrs in the pot 1 of which is you but after the SB bets on the flop $,50 just call and see what the BTN does if he pushes like he does it is a fold but if he calls and the heart doesn´t come neither the ace or king you are out of the hand

Yea, fine, we got our money in. Your bet sizing on the flop is terrible though, raising it up to $4 or so makes things a hell of a lot easier.

Quick on trigger

Bigger raise preflop and gutsy allin on the flush. You should make small bet to see how the callers react. Have to play that hand slower after the flop. so many outs but dont push it all. Wait to see if u hit on turn or river.

WOW.. what a variety of responses here, lol. Some of you I REALLY want to play on your tables,... others.. um.... nope.. I think I'll stay far away.

It was nice to see some good remarks/advice on here after reading some of the 'freeroll fetching' ones. Sure you needed to raise it up more on the flop but you got the money in anyways.

where do you get the '20%' from??... raising more would've been better but I still would've made the call. Good chance you've got 15outs there (taking into account how your opponent's play their hands which became apparent when we saw what their cards were at showdown).
What do we figure button is shoving with here? An overpair?.. a set? 20%??........ even on the turn you're still far better than 20%. Minus two from them so it takes longer to get the passwords (just joking).

Some great stuff here on the Cardschat forum for cashgame play. I'm just in the process of making the transition from mtt play over to cashgame and am grinding it out in 10NL, trying to make necessary adjustments and and to rid myself of sng & mtt habits. So far so good (I think?). I'm averaging around 20BB/hr. while multi-tabling 3 to 4 tables at full ring. Plan on moving to 6-max but first things first.
GL on the tables!!
