I guess it depends on his 3betting range whether you have decent fold equity or not. I would be a lot more comfortable making a play like this vs a known lite 3bettor, since your fold equity will be higher against a wider range. If you get called here I would expect it to be from JJ+, AQ, possible KQ, and maybe a few others, but I wouldn't expect more than around 28% equity at best, or maybe even just 16%

Assuming you do have 28% equity and one of your overcards is live, your ev when called is -$4.27 and he needs to fold at least 40% of the time

As soon as I think of FE at 10nl 6 max, I think bad things. I think the shove here is kinds spewy. Maybe a raise or float might work better at this limit.

imo this looks kinda spewy.
If where gonna shove the flop why not get it in preflop when we have decent equity against JJ,QQ ect?

Unless his 3-bet % is very high, and his c-bet % is very high, I think this is bad. 4-betting preflop should be your standard play in this spot, and I can't think of a reason why calling with position is better. Plus, we don't fold a lot of his range on this flop. If he's 3-bet/c-betting all the way down to like AJ, AT, KJ, suited connectors, all small pairs ect. then I think this is okay, but its so rare to find that at $10NL.

I also think calling the flop & betting turns when he gives up is better than shoving, since we're 130bb's deep. We'll improve a decent amount of the time, and it takes special balls that just aren't found at $10NL to fire the turn barrel with a hand like pocket 5's.

If he 3-bets like 10%+ over a good sample, and c-bets every flop, then I think I might've liked the shove & the call. However, 10/8 nits RARELY 3-bet that high, since their VPIP isn't even that high :p.
