Villain and I have had no prior history up to this point, but after 10 hands he is running 78/33/4 with a 3bet of 27.7% and a cbet of 100% over this small sample. So he is all over the place.

Has he simply called in this kind of situation (after the flop) before? I know you don't have a lot of history with him...

With the call, I don't think complete air is likely, and just a 7 or a 5 are also unlikely. I think a queen is possible, two pair are possible (and if that's the case, a full house after the turn is possible), a set is possible, nd the straight draw is very possible.

I'd be inclined to put out a little more than half pot bet and fold to action - the straight draw should fold, and the only other hand you're ahead of is a paired 7.

Um, how is this 3-bet on the flop not spew? If he's bluffing, you want him to keep bluffing right?

Flop is just sloppy and does nothing good for your hand unless he's so laggy and bad that you expect him to stack any pair and shove like AJ there or something. Basically you shut down his bluffs which by his profile sounds like is the majority of his range.

If he's really spazzy, you call his flop raise and reevaluate the turn. I've defnitely made light call downs against guys like this.
