Stats on UTG:
82/22/37% over 92 hands
Fold to C-bet = 33%

Reads on UTG
Has been making lots of crazy bluffs. Sometimes over-bets, sometimes regular ones. I've recently put him in his place, taking the $3.73 from him that's been added to my stack. He likes to make bluffs and show them.

Hero (MP): $13.73
CO: $1.70
BTN: $10.10
SB: $5.15
BB: $1.55
UTG: $20.31

Pre-Flop: :jh4: :ad4: dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.45, 2 folds, SB calls $0.40, BB folds, UTG calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.45) :6h4: :8s4: :3d4: (3 Players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($1.45) :6h4: :8s4: :3d4: :5h4: (3 Players)
SB checks, UTG bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, SB folds

River: ($2.05) :6h4: :8s4: :3d4: :5h4: :5c4: (2 Players)
UTG bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

I realize this hits a limp/caller's range pretty hard, but at the same time, his bets are very small, and he's been limping all sorts of stuff preflop, so his range is a lot larger than usual. Am I just being spewy? I realize this is totally read based, but he's just got a terrible image and is offering me awesome pot odds.

With these kind of stats and bluff history Q-high might be good but this haves to be one of the worst possible board(river bringing a 10 or 9 whould have been worse) to make a hero call.
I whould let him bluff me off here. Also if whe start making these hero calls with A high vilian might stop bluffing us like this and whe dont really whant that do whe?
Fold and let him play like a maniac and take his money when u have a actual hand imo.

I think that brings up a pretty good point. I may be ahead of his range now, but calling him down with ace high may put his a$$ back in line...

Something I didn't really think about. I always analyze hands in a vacuum, but this does have pretty big implications on how future hands play out.

Idk, he spent the whole night trying to "outplay" me (as he said in chat). I'm not sure if this will stop him from bluffing, but it certainly won't make him bluff more.

which would be baaaad. You want him to make crazy bluffs against you. Just not when all you have is ace high.

I would attempt a c-bet after the flop. Everyboy checking after the flop with me in last position. I would take advantage of it.

hell, i might call. getting almost 4:1.. i would sorta expect him to bet more with a 5 although he doesn't have to, and i'd definitely expect him to bet more on the turn with an 8 (and possibly donk flop although he ofc doesn't have to do that either). the turn bet looks quite a lot like trying to buy a draw cheaply, and there are a good few of them -- any 4, any 7, hearts, maybe T9 that all missed. of course he could also have a 6 or something and you're beat. a + to calling is that it'd be nice to know what he had and made those sized bets with for future hands

if i was worried this would put him in line and make him stop bluffing so much, i'd probably lay it down. but on the other hand if you're right it could also tilt him a bit and make him spew more. i think a call is reasonable given the price and opponent, but then i hate folding :)

If you must have them.

** Dealing River ** [ 5c ]
Ironchef711 bets [$0.75 USD]
Hero calls [$0.75 USD]
Ironchef711 shows [9h, Jc ]
Hero shows [Jh, Ad ]
Hero wins $3.38 USD from main pot

And he didn't stop bluffing. He kept trying to "outplay" me all night. Later on he value bet something at the top of his range, I called with mid-pair and he said "finally, I outplayed you".

However, I think he was a bit more selective about where he bluffed. He wasn't just firing away.
