I think around a pot sized bet would be fine if he is on the draw, I'm not sure I see the benefit in over betting unless you think he is the type who would call you down with almost anything.

Betting pot or slightly less also takes away implied odds from him trying to draw to a flush, better 2pr or straight. It also might make it more appealing for him to call with those drawing hands if he does not have a good grasp of odds in general.

Woah, that's kinda a bad board for top 2, with the whole flush thing going on. And I don't really like the flop raise, since you're going to get shoved on by a lot of hands pretty often. Top pair/no kicker/terribad flush draw isn't really a hand we want to build a big pot with. Not to mention, you *check/raised* which means sometimes they'll check behind with like the jack of spades and cost you big money.

As played, the shove on the turn really isn't optimal either, since now you want him to call with a flush draw, because he's like 18% to hit by the river.

I'd prolly call the flop, lead a blank/improving turn.

I like these suggestions but I like to push so that is what I would have done.

The problem with the push once you've reached the turn is that he really isn't calling you too many times with drawing hands (unless he is extremely bad and you have seen him do this), and is probably calling a bet this size more often with better hands (sets, flushes, straights)....

You don't want him to fold, you want him to call for a draw, which would work better with smaller sized bet, im thinking 2/3 pot
