Villain is so far a sort-of unknown running pretty lag. I've been semiLAg.

Thoughts on play up to river? Size of value raise? Can I call a shove?

OK Chuck, why are we chk flop and turn? For me I cb this flop most times, I appreciate he is laggy, but we now have no information re: his hand. As played this is a marginal call for me. I mean we have to be pretty unlucky for him to flop a flush here. He could have absolutely anything other than a flush as well if he is spew lag, so I think it's a call.

I think we learn more from a cb or turn bet though. You have position on him, and a pr of 3's is not gonna win much at s/d (unless we hit a set of course) so we have to bet at least once imo.

Would you have called the $5 if the river had been the deuce of hearts?

I bet this flop most of the time and take it from there, it's a very dangerous board for him to make a move on so probably folding to a flop raise. If called, I'd check behind this turn with the plan of calling any river. As played, I actually think you have to fold. You're getting just about 1:1 on this call, and I'd be surprised if he 3-bet bluffs the river 50% of the time. The only thing in his non-bluffing range you beat is 2-2, and maybe K8. I say maybe K8, because even that is mostly a stretch for him to shove this river with.

Value raise-size is just fine. I think folding when he comes over the top is close to mandatory, though.

If he's laggy, he could be looking to make us fold most 2pr hands here. I certainly don't think he has a set as he prolly 3bets us pf with any pr imo. The only hand I think he beats us with is a flush. It's close in my book, coz I see some shit going on at 6max, that I'm just inclined to call here. But only just!

That's definitly a very close call, if it were me I would call. However, after that flop I think you have to bet like $4 or so, like a feeler bet to see where you're at. That would've made your decision a lot easier on the river

Tough decision, but fold imo. It just seems like a huge donk raise, and they almost always have the flush there. I mean wtf a 111 dollar raise in a 29 dollar pot.

I would have c-bet that flop in position. If he called or raised, I'd probably be done with the pot.

Some of these LAG players clam up when they flop a big hand and slowplay it to death. I'd guess he lucked out with some ugly J-high flush. He could easily be bluffing, but I think I'd have to fold here.
