Hero checks, Button bets $224.45 (All-In), Hero folds.

Villain is an aggressive-ish 21/13/2 over 850 hands and I've been a little active at the table.

I basically botched this one up while 8-tabling and not thinking about pot size and stack size etc.

Should we be checking the turn for pot control or is giving the spade draw a free card too risky? As played what's our river action? Bet-fold? Check-call? Check-fold?

fyi I have $69.5 left in my stack on the river and villain obviously has me covered.

Looks like set mining to me and then a big overbet to see if s/he can get TPTK to think it's a bluff on midPP. I would have check/fold the turn or river as too many TPTK hands just get crushed by some random junk (like 86, 36, 44, 55) that hits against me. I won't make a call down until I have seen opponent show actual junk when s/he has been caught.

what range is villian calling with in the BTN? I think KTs is in their range.

I dont think checking the turn is a good play. You need to extract value against a FD or SD.

The 7 is an interesting river. Not to sure what to do. Based on what you said about being active at the table im leaning to calling this River bet.

Can you go into PT and get villians River Bet %? I have this on my HUD, its very helpful :)

He may be putting you on a busted flush draw with that line. I would bet the river since you bet the turn. Checking the turn for pot control is reasonable as well. Tough spot.

I think that checking the turn a value betting river is a much more solid line than betting the turn and checking the river. As checking the river opens you up to to many good bluffs because you are basically saying im weak bet at me.

That's basically what I was going for but his bet scared me  I was probably calling most bets but the shove just shook me up for some reason.

He also had a really low river AF at 1 so that tilts the decision to a fold...

What do we put him on here that beats us? A set (other than 77) raises the turn to protect against / get value from the FD. K 10 also likely reraises the turn. I think checking the turn and betting the river i the right play but I'm likely calling his river bet.

Id probably fold and wait for a better spot. Villain doesnt look exceptionally donkish, nor agressive enough to shove there with less than what Chuck has. I also think he probably has a slowplayed set.
