i'd fold. KQ/QJ/KJ/JJ/maybe QQ?/maybe AT?/44 all have you. stats help, so we know if QJ would even be in the pot, or stuff like KT and QT. though if he had something like a pair + straight draw, i'd expect a lot of those hands to check behind. his bet size also seems to really want action imo. you're out of position and even if you make the nuts you're hard pressed to get paid off. an A is probably good but you won't make much on it either. a 4 is probably the best card for you unless he ends up with one of the unlikely boats/quads/straight. just not that many outs for you and most of them have little implied odds, you're out of position, and probably behind at this point 3 out of 4 times, if you're ahead he has his own outs, i muck it

Relative unknown at the time, have stats now after playing the rest of the session with him but this was early and those stats would have an impact on whether people would call/fold/push that I didn't have at the table.

fwiw I did fold this, figured only thing I beat is AK. Villain looks willing to play for stacks, I'd really rather not. Just didn't know if others thought this was a good fold here.

Yeah w/o reads I think the fold is fine here. You are most likely behind to a ST8 with that bet size.

Yep Dannyolah is somewhat passive/calling station type. I have him at 13/3/2 over 1200 hands. If he's betting here we can assume his range definitely includes a lot of broadway stuff. I fold here I think.

Yep, easy fold imo. What can we really beat? Especially if he's a 13/3?

Well by the end of the session I had him as a 7/1/1, I guess I was just getting paranoid that he was making a move on me, since when I cbet the flop then check the turn it looks weak. I need to quit giving opponents too much credit. Keep thinking they're all trying to make moves on me, flatting that flop and then bluffing turn, and although I think AK is reasonable here, I don't think it's a bluff now that we've seen stats. Basically I guess it's safe to think that most players are straightforward until proven otherwise and no straightforward player bluffs that. Guess it's safe to say I just was overthinking this, luckily didn't try to get fancy and made the right play. Thanks.
