Fold to cbet%?

Against someone that (appears) to be this aggressive post flop, or floaty I'll sometimes check/call the flop to keep the pot small. I kind of like that play in this situation, because I don't see a whole lot of worse hands I can get value from on this flop unless I check to induce. Or if he checks behind I might lead a safe turn. I can't really think of any other alternative lines, the fact that your oop makes it easy for him to barrell you off your hand no matter what line you take, I'm not really thrilled with getting any more than 1 street of value in this situation, unless I'm bluff catching 2 streets, so he opens up his range.

As played I don't think you have many options on the turn other than the way you played it, and on the river I would need a read to make this call here. His range is polarized, so he's either got it or he doesn't. If he peeled the flop with a gutshot like 45 or 56 and got there I think his play makes sense, I don't think you can rule out a 5 in his range. Your probably better off folding and not justifying his optimistic calls.

i think you played it fine. on the turn he bets too little to fold. on the river, you only beat like 66 bluffing and a few downright weird flop floats -- downright weird due to his turn bet size. and even then, some of those you don't beat anymore. as suspicious as it looks i let it go without much hesitation

I play it exactly the same way and snapfold the river. One thing I've learned is that overbets or shoves from donks is always the nuts (or what they think is the nuts) on the river. They did their best to milk you before that, couldn't get the money in so then shove to get it in. Don't overthink it, you don't have a good hand and he just over-bet the river and no draws missed. Easy fold imo.
