Well we can't smooth call this with the intention of reraising/pushing if someone behind us raises, and then fold once the player does.

Your set up worked perfectly (I would have raised btw), and now you can get the rest of your chips in. There's plenty that you have trapped right now - KQ, AcX, set, etc

With this flop, at this point, there is only 1 hand that will beat you. But, say villain flopped 2 pair to his KQ, or perhaps someone else hit 2 pair, or a set.

This is not a hand 2 pair will want to tango with. Unless you fail to make it unreasonable for him! If you call here, you give him a reasonable shot at a boat, pot and implied odds wise. If you shove, no one can afford to be wrong here. You want the 3rd and 4th player out of this hand here.

Shove, all in.

I have to agree with the others. Why would you play T9s when you're not willing to shove with it when you flop your flush (with a straight flush draw)? To many hand that you have beat at this point so shove it.

i wasnt worried about steven. His huge raise screams 2 pairs. But Swtwtrs line was.

He puts out a small "plz raise me" bet, then calls a huge raise. At this point im thinking he has a flush too. But hes in SB so even if he does it could be a lower one.

I thought about calling and seeing how he bets on turn, but steven behind me is gonna ruin that anyway if a nonspade comes.

Something just felt bad lol.

If you lost this one, it's a cooler.

(i don't know what 'cooler' means, but I think i can get away with using it :D)

He puts out a small "plz raise me" bet, then calls a huge raise.

If he's putting out a suck bet to trap us with a bigger flush, then he's not going to smooth call a raise with that many players. An ace-high flush is possible, but unlikely.

A minbet-smooth call to a raise is usually AcX trying to see a cheap turn.

Thats true, tbh i wanted 2 call and see what swt does on turn but since steven was behind me i did end up shoving. swt could easily have a lower flush or just the ace.

I did shove and swt had the ace high flush.

I just had a bad feeling but wasnt justified by any logic i guess, thx for the replies.
