100nl on bovada

Im on the button with AsQs it folds around to me i 3x it. The small blind calls. Big blind folds. 559 flop with 2 spades. I have $94 behind small blind has $120. Not really any info on him, its only the 7th hand since ive been at the table. Pot is $7.50 he leads for $5 i raise to $20 he calls. Pot is $47.50 turn is 5. He bets pot. What to do next?

with position flatting is preferable here. Sometimes you need to put a hand into prospective. You have overs and a nut flush draw - which equates to massive equity. However, you have to think about what happens when you brick. When your opponent leads pot how can you ever profitably call? The sickest part is they could have a PAIR and now you have to fold a hand that still has tremendous equity.

Flatting the flop bet will allow you to call all turn bets. You get 2 cards and probably win the hand rather than get 1 card and lose.

I wrote this out wrong. I meant was it played badly. The reason i raised was to build the pot. Alot of the time i take i down on the flop and if he does call i still have alot of equity. Given this was after a few drinks. I obviously folded after the 5 hit. Also i apologize for posting in the wrong forum.

Why are you attempting to build a pot with A high? Also, I don't mind raising his donk bet on the flop but I would probably raise it to the $13-$15 range since you are essentially bluffing.
