First off wth is up with the limp preflop, raise it there. I don't play much 6-max but I doubt open-limping is ever good.

As for the river, any reads on the villain? Seems like your most likely beat as there isn't much villain would do this with that your ahead of. Lower flush is definitely the only thing that makes sense that your ahead of. I think I fold here though with no reads.

I think that's a pretty clear fold. It was a limped pot and villain was in the SB so could have anything, including A5, Q5, 85, 88, or a higher flush (A-, K-, J- or 10-high). If he has any of those hands you have only one out to improve to a straight flush.

Sure, he could have a weaker hand or be bluffing, but why risk most of your stack to find out?

I wasn't gonna raise with a suited connecter in that postion because i can't stand a reraise. I'd have to let it go. Its either limp and hope for a multiway pot or fold.

update:No reads on this guy at all. Except that his stats are 32 15 3 over 100 hands

You should never be open limping at 6max, so raise is or fold it preflop. I also just jam this one on the turn, as villain will call lots of 2 pairs/sets. As played I think you have to fold the river.

But open-limping is just bad imo, your not going to get 3Bet that often and if you do so what fold and move on. If you really are dead set against not raising then just fold. I think your being too nitty for 6-max. I play mostly full ring and trust me I raise alot wider than that in the Hijack position.

Then move to FR you will be much better off playing nitty at FR then you will be at 6-max.

Good chance villian has Ac and any other card. With that he can put a lot of pressure on you w TP and nut flush draw. The overbet on the paired river isn't inconsistent with that either.... he's just moved into a tie with possible hands of yours like AJ, AT.

In any event, agreed, as played... you need to fold river.
