Villain is a lagtard over a very small sample size. Flop line? Turn?

I checked flop because I expect him to ch-r all of his draws and ch-r bluff a good chunk of the time too. Turn I'm just confused. I bet for protection and value but his ch-r just baffles me.

If we suspect he gonna chk/r all his draw and bluffs as well, then if we chk the flop he's only gonna do it on the next street. I don't mind the bet on the turn, but following your logic, we may as well chk the turn and just hopefully get to S/D cheap. I don't like building this pot too much with such a weak hand.

villain's probably thinking:"he doesn't have a queen, he would have bet the flop in position. I'll raise and he'll fold". Or maybe he thinks that you think this and figures now is the time to check-raise, hoping for more action.
I'd say the first scenario is about right according to your reads. Do you want to take a sec then call, then bet the river or just let it go..? I'd prob. 3 bet to $20, but that's probably why I play tourney's and not cash tables.
I'm really anxious to see the rest.

Also as played I find it hard to call his chk/r on the turn, b/c if he bets river were calling w/btm pr which is really thin.

Un-diluted is dead on...villain has position and knows you don't have a queen. It is highly unlikely you raise preflop and then check top pair.

So what does villain have that allows him to call the raise out of position and then go check/check? Either a small pair, less than 7's or two face cards that didn't hit on the flop. Two pair is pretty much out because of the preflop raise and I doubt villain checks a set twice.

Could villain have checked AQ, hoping to check raise but instead you check behind, sure...but when another Q comes does villain really want to check his trips and give a free card? No, if villain had a Q he doesn't check a second time.

So another Q hits, villain checks hoping for another free card, but then you bet after having checked the flop. Villain thinks, how did that Q help you? Villain calls bulls**t and reraises to $12.

Heros play...I fold because I don't get involved in a bluffing war with bottom pair and no draw. If you go back over the top, it could work as it would really put villain to a decision, but now you are really starting to play for stacks and you have basically nothing. If I'm going to get aggressive I need at least a decent number of outs.

I would fold in this situation. This feels like one the those hands where the villain hits something big on the flop, and plays it incredibly slow, waiting to check/raise the turn. What makes reading his play difficult is the rainbow flop that really only fits something like 77 into that analysis. I don't know, my guess is that he leads out any sort of draw he may have on the turn. I make a baffled fold.

Announced,

I don't think it was a rainbow flop, two diamonds. I don't see 77, because I don't see a set checking twice here. Not saying it can't happen, I just don't see it. There is the possibility the other Q hits and 77 checks the full-house, but I think other hands are a much stronger possibility.

Regardless, I agree it is a fold.

Wow, I completely missed the two diamonds; thought one was a heart. It doesn't change my opinion that it should be a fold, but I need to re-evaluate what range I put the villain on, as 77 is not as likely now.

I'd fold. Bottom pair and no draws and he's shown that he thinks he caught us with our hand in the cookie jar.
Yeah, maybe he's got absolutely nothing and is just looking to pick off your stab, but I hate to fight back without at least a draw.

I'd fold.
