re: Poker & 100nl 43s line check
Un-diluted is dead on...villain has position and knows you don't have a queen. It is highly unlikely you raise preflop and then check top pair.
So what does villain have that allows him to call the raise out of position and then go check/check? Either a small pair, less than 7's or two face cards that didn't hit on the flop. Two pair is pretty much out because of the preflop raise and I doubt villain checks a set twice.
Could villain have checked AQ, hoping to check raise but instead you check behind, sure...but when another Q comes does villain really want to check his trips and give a free card? No, if villain had a Q he doesn't check a second time.
So another Q hits, villain checks hoping for another free card, but then you bet after having checked the flop. Villain thinks, how did that Q help you? Villain calls bulls**t and reraises to $12.
Heros play...I fold because I don't get involved in a bluffing
war with bottom pair and no draw. If you go back over the top, it could work as it would really put villain to a decision, but now you are really starting to play for stacks and you have basically nothing. If I'm going to get aggressive I need at least a decent number of outs.
