This was an online hand.
So Im sitting with 26bb on the button (.5/1, no ante), I would characterize my opponents as LAG, a pretty solid female player.
The standard preflop raise was 2x for both of us. I'm dealt 10s8c and I raise to
She flats and the flop comes 5s8d9d.
She checks and I bet 1/2 pot (I had been c-betting about 80-90% of flops and she was calling about 50% and raising 5%). Here she raises 3x to $6 and I flat. In this spot I think she could have 55, 88,99, 10d-9x, 76, 10s+, and j10+ with 2 diamonds or a10+ with the ace of diamonds.
The turn comes an offsuit queen (The pot is now 16 )and she leads into me for $9. To me this lead looks weak and I haven't been playing super loose so she can't expect to get value out of a lot of drawing hands here which pretty much polarizes her range--she could have AQ, or a set or some draw or combo draw.
I decide to call with the intention of folding to any river bet.
The pot is now 34 and I have a 1:1 spr, she checks and I check behind. She turns over K10 with the 10 of diamonds.
I think I played this recently, short stacked and heads up with position I think middle pair is enough to call a raise against a LAG player when there are lots of draws.
I'm wondering what you guys think about how I played and the line she took, there is something to be said for floating the flop and turn bets and then potentially bluffing the river, but I don't think this was a very unordinary play either.
