$100 NL HE Full Ring: TPMK with FD vs Aggro winning player

Villain has been raising from the SB quite a bit. We do have some history together from another table where we played for stacks and I ended up on the + side. No stats (No Hud) but PTR says he is a winner over 100k+ hands. Whats the optimal move after villain bets flop?

6 folds, SB raises to $3, Hero calls $2

Flop: ($6.00) 7 K 9 (2 players)
SB bets $4, Hero?

Call. We have showdown value, position, very few cards hit on the turn that scare us, and we'd love for him to fire a second barrel.

Yea pretty much all of this. In addition HU BvB I don't think we're folding out KJ+ with a flop raise ever so raising won't fold out hands that beat us unimproved either.

On a side note against aggro BvB villains our hand is certainly strong enough to 3 bet pre although flatting IP is fine, particularly if villain spews postflop

its defenetly a call, you should try to present a weak hand or missed hand as A-x. I'm sure he will raise on the turn and probably on the river.
