$100 NLHE Full Ring: Tens with wet board and 1 over card...reg villain range?
insight into what he was repping would be nice. Or at least his range?
Sorry im doing this from memory so im missing the EXACT money sizes, but this gets the jist across. The biggest issue with this hand is that after the turn i have no idea what the villains legit hand could be? And how to deal with it?
Hero 140 bb Button 10d 10c
Villain 120 bb MP
fold, fold, MP calls 1$, fold, fold, fold Hero raise 3.20$, sb call, bb call, MP call.
FLOP(12.80$) Qd 9d 5c
MP raise 5$, Hero raises 12$, fold, fold,
Turn (30.55$) 2c
Regardless of how the hand goes down, Im trying to think of a hand he is on and what i should do from this point on. My rationale for the flop raise is (even with 4 people in the pot) if i get called on my reraise, or even reraised, i can just shut down and check/fold after that.
He is a solid reg so limping was wierd from mp. Im thinking KQo?, or even a KJdd, i ruled out JT because I have the Td. Obviously its possible he has 55 or 99 but again, im thinking if he does he reraises me on a wet board like that and i just fold. The issue is that he checks on the turn....is this something i can expect from just top pair like KQo AND a draw hand like KJdd? Is this a 50/50 for me to bet or check the turn? If i bet and he calls/raises i can shut down. BUT, if i check, is a reg going to fire on the river sensing weakness if he misses his draw or has top pair? Or can i count on him to check it down if he misses his draw/or doesnt want to risk any more with just tp. Thoughts on how to play this?
Btw the vpip for the sb/bb was like 50 and 75 respectively, horrendous players calling everything preflop, thats why me and him prolly werent worried about there holdings...
